Model Rooms

Model rooms are used to showcase how an apartment can function for a relative or loved one. Many times the units are semi-private, meaning there are two residents per apartment. For these projects I chose the furniture and accessories, but not the finishes.

This particular model room is a one bedroom independent living apartment in a high rise located in Houston, Texas. Finishes were chosen by the interior designer. Furniture, art and accessories were chosen by me.

Drafting

For this assignment I had a to draft a full set of plans for a commercial building with a coffee shop on the ground floor and a bookstore upstairs.

Interior Renovation: Mitchell Delicatessen

For this project I found a friend to roleplay as a client and select a public space to undergo an interior renovation. Programs used to complete this assignment were Photoshop, InDesign and Revit.

Interior Renovation: Winthrop Medical Clinic

For this project I designed a medical clinic for a rural town in Arkansas. Programs used to complete the assignment were Revit, InDesign and Photoshop.

Revit Project: Yeodamjae Library

For this project I selected the Yeodamjae Library from archdaily.com to replicate in Revit over the course of the semester. The purpose of this project was apply what we learned in class and create our own set of construction documents. This project is not drawn to scale.
